This award was initiated by Jack Foley in 2004 after a stunning performance by Bruce Young at Murray Downs. It is awarded for the most notable event during the weekend and each year is presented by Bruce Young the inaugural winner.

Listed below are the winners and the feats selected for winning the award.

2013 No Award….
2012 Dave Rednman – For stunning wagering achievements notably with the Tournament Director.Apparently red wine was involved … We could say what goes on tour … stays on tour… BUT not on this tour !!
2011 Marshall Holding – On the 18th hole of the Captain’s Course, playing his shot to the green from the far wide if the LHS fairway, Marshall took his wood and hit a high looping shot, which caused him to call FORE, to alert the people in the Clubhouse that they should take cover, along with those in the car park as the ball bounced off the Clubhouse roof – about 60 metres wide of the green.
2010 Pete Calder – (at his first Masters), obviously impressed the judges. In the heat of the Calcutta, Pete, well into spirited bidding for one of our more likely contenders, uttered “and whose money is we’re betting here …?”, but probably the best display of helpfulness for a first timer came when a couple of boys doing the dishes after the barbeque on Saturday were summarily dismissed and displaced for stacking the dishes on the wrong side of the sink. This left Pete, (and Max who was standing too close..) to clean up for all of us [evidence]
2009 Bruce Young – On the 11th hole of the Presidents’s course, Bruce managed to accumulate the incredible number of 7 shots prior to reaching the Ladies Tee. As the jug rule for not reaching the Ladies Tee applies in the Masters (i.e. a jug of beer on the table if you don’t pass the ladies tee), Bruce not only contributed 7 jugs of beer for that hole but a record 12 jugs for the weekend!
2008 Ed Kosciuk – Ed contributed some amazing feats during the wine tour on the Saturday afternoon which have not been publicised outside of those on the wine tour however from all accounts from those witnesses it provided him with a well deserved win
2007 Max Borneman – On the Saturday afternoon, the Cox Plate betting syndicate had organised their trifecta selections for the final 6 races and Max was assigned the task of putting on the bets. After making a mistake of the selections on the 7th race he proceeded to return the ticket back and bet the correct numbers. At this stage there was already a dividend of $800 from previous bets so there was money to spend. As some are aware it is a golden rule that you never return an incorrect bet. And guess what ! The incorrect bet got up and the trifecta paid $2,200 ! But Max was adamant that he had saved us $120 by returning the incorrect betting ticket prior to the race.
2006 Bruce Munro – With 5 holes to play, Bruce held a commanding lead of 9 points , only to hit shots out of bounds on 3 of the next 5 holes, and finish up level with Clive and Rowelly
2005 Clive Driscoll – Clive was a bit upset at a man walking his dog across the long par 5 16th hole at Murray Downs on the Sunday morning about 200 metres from the tee, and when the dog squatted down to relieve himself , Clive decided to take aim. His accuracy was perfect hitting the dog and almost causing a local incident. To verify this there is a photo of the dogs droppings on the website!
2004 Bruce Young – Following the ‘Carts this way sign’ Bruce drove his golf cart through the automatic opening doors into the clubhouse entrance much to the dismay of the female staff member checking the signing in of all the visitors to the Murray Downs clubhouse.
